Rodney Hood gave us the first nutmeg of the season and it was gorgeous

Just beautiful.

Rodney Hood is one of the more crafty scorers in the league and is a solid scoring presence off of the bench for the Jazz. But it wasn’t his scoring that he blessed us with against the Wolves.

Instead, he gave us our first nutmeg of the season on Karl-Anthony Towns, no less.

Simply put: This play is gorgeous.

The beauty of it happening on Towns, one of the league’s best big men, is quite enough. But for Hood to do it? The irony spectacular.

For those of you who don’t know what a nutmeg is, it’s a pass between the legs of a defender. We’ve seen some beauties in the past, like this insane one from Russell Westbrook last season.

This is really an art, and I’m glad Hood gave our first instance this season. Welcome back, NBA. We missed you so much.
