Milos Teodosic exits Clippers vs. Suns game with left foot injury

Teodosic had to be helped off the floor.

Clippers point guard Milos Teodosic exited Los Angeles’ Saturday night game against the Phoenix Suns with a left foot injury. The severity of the injury is not immediately clear, but the team ruled him out for the game. He will undergo an MRI to see how bad the injury is, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Teodosic landed on either Devin Booker or Tyson Chandler’s foot while attempting to grab a rebound in the second quarter. He slammed his fist into the court in pain an had to be carried off of the floor. He eventually hopped back into the locker room.

Teodosic came over to the NBA after dominating the Euroleague overseas as one of the world’s most heady floor generals. The 30-year-old point guard averaged six points and six assists in his first two NBA games, and had five points and two assists in 11 minutes before his injury.
