Lonzo Ball tweaked his ankle, and Lakers fans freaked out

Lonzo’s just fine, but it could have been much worse

Lonzo Ball exited the Lakers’ preseason matchup against the Denver Nuggets late Monday night when he appeared to tweak his ankle while attempting to block a shot.

Ball — the second-overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft — tried to walk it off but was eventually pulled from the game. He then went back to the locker room with a team trainer.

Ball’s ankle injury wasn’t serious at all. In fact, after his ankle was re-taped and he started the second half. But that didn’t stop Lakers fans from freaking out over the face of the franchise getting a stinger.

Count your blessings, Lakers fans. It could have been worse.
