Mexico have already punched their ticket to the 2018 World Cup, and from here it’s all about form and figuring out what their best plans will be for the World Cup itself next summer. This match against Trinidad and Tobago is mostly just a formality for El Tri, but it can still serve plenty of value for Mexico.
Mexico vs. Trinidad and Tobago live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch 2018 World Cup qualifier online

Mexico’s run in the Hex has been near-perfect so far, unbeaten and winning five of their eight games so far in qualifying while allowing just three goals. They’ve been the dominant force in CONCACAF qualifying, running away from the pack and qualifying with great ease, unlike the morass of teams behind them in the table.
Qualifying has been less kind to Trinidad and Tobago, who have earned just three points in the Hex thanks to one lone win, that over Panama back in March. They’ve lost every other Hex match, though, getting outscored 15-4 along the way thanks to a leaky defense.
They’re not as bad a team as that record would indicate, but the Soca Warriors aren’t quite on the level as their more elite CONCACAF foes — though they are slowly getting better, and the Hex has at least helped show them some of the areas they need to improve.
