Gary Harris signs 4-year, $84 million extension with Nuggets, per report
Denver solidified Harris’s status one of its key players for the future.

The Nuggets drafted Harris in 2014 and after averaging three points per game as a rookie, the Michigan State product emerged as one of the better young two-way guards the league has to offer. He ranked in the top 10 in the NBA in both three-point percentage and effective field goal percentage in Denver last season.
Harris was eligible for the rookie extension following his third year in the NBA and his deal begins in the 2018-19 season. He and sensational young big man Nikola Jokic — whose contract the Nuggets have yet to extend — could pair up and become one of the more formidable guard-big tandems in the league down the road.
