The Minnesota Vikings were excited to have Sam Bradford back at the helm after a knee injury cost him three games, but a return in Week 5 may have been premature. The veteran quarterback struggled and was eventually replaced by Case Keenum just before halftime in a Monday Night Football matchup against the Chicago Bears.
Case Keenum replaces Sam Bradford vs. Bears
Sam Bradford did not look right during his return to the Vikings offense.

Bradford, 29, has a history of injuries and dealt with a bone bruise that kept him out of action after Week 1. The Vikings went 1-2 with Keenum as the starter in his place, but scored just nine points and seven points in losses to the Steelers and Lions, respectively.
With Bradford under center, the Vikings opened the season with a 29-19 win over the Saints in which he threw three touchdown and no interceptions. But he looked like a shell of himself against the Bears when he got sacked four times in the first half, including a safety when he held the ball for more than five seconds in his own end zone.
Thanks to the performance of the Vikings defense, and a strip sack by Danielle Hunter, Minnesota still had a 3-2 lead when Keenum took over. But Bradford finished the half with just 36 passing yards and a noticeable limp.
