The NHL may not be heading to the Olympics in February, but it’s still making efforts to grow the game internationally. That includes a pair of matchups between the Colorado Avalanche and Ottawa Senators in Stockholm, Sweden, this weekend as part of the 2017 SAP NHL Global Series.
Avalanche vs. Senators 2017: Times, TV schedule, and live stream for Nov. 10-11 NHL Global Series
Tune into Matt Duchene’s first weekend with Ottawa.

The game on Saturday will start at 1 p.m. ET and be broadcast live on NHL Network. That means it’ll be blacked out in the United States for those trying to stream it on NHL.tv, although Rogers GameCentre Live will have the stream for Canadian fans.
The Senators won the first game, 4-3, on Friday afternoon thanks to an overtime goal from Mark Stone, who finished with two scores. Erik Karlsson also dished two assists to push his season total to 15 points in 10 games.
Matt Duchene, who made his Ottawa debut against his former team Friday in a situation that was surely not awkward for anyone involved, recorded two shots on goal in 16:44 of playing time.
The former Avalanche center primarily skated on the second line with Mike Hoffman, who is currently on a seven-game point streak. The Senators could have a strong duo there behind their top line, which is anchored by Stone and Derick Brassard.
Ottawa is now unbeaten with Duchene in the lineup, and it’ll look to keep that up Saturday with another win.
