Seven weeks after toasting the Baltimore Ravens with a 58-yard fake punt, the Jacksonville Jaguars did it again. This time it went for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jaguars torch Chargers on 56-yard TD with masterfully executed fake punt
The Jaguars ran the same exact fake-punt play to perfection less than two months ago.

Just like the fake against Baltimore in September, the Jaguars snapped directly to running back Corey Grant — one of the fastest players on the team. Against the Ravens he tore down the right sideline, but against the Chargers, he ran up the middle, broke a tackle and danced around two more would-be tacklers on his way to the end zone.
The play was just Grant’s 20th carry of the 2017 season, but he has a total of 179 yards rushing thanks to the 58- and 56-yard fake punt plays.
Surely, the Jaguars won’t try the play a third time, right? The Chargers probably never even thought they’d run it twice. The Jaguars clearly aren’t afraid to roll the dice.
