The Chargers had a win locked up against the Jaguars. All they had to do was run out the clock. And then they may have blown it with a fumble.
The Chargers couldn’t even run out the clock without fumbling
Oh, Chargers.

Jeanna Kelley has been covering the Falcons for The Falcoholic since 2011 and the NFL for SB Nation since 2015.
The Chargers had a 17-14 lead, and the defense just picked off Blake Bortles. All they had to do was keep the clock running. The Jaguars recovered and ran it in for a score — which was overturned.
The play was reviewed, and the ruling changed. It was a fumble, just not a score. They ruled the runner down by contact, but the Jaguars still got the ball back and another shot to win.
