Joel Embiid had the highlight of Monday night when the 76ers defeated the Jazz, and he only touched the ball once to do it:
This is the most Joel Embiid sequence of all time
Philly’s got a good one.

This sequence is so incredible, we have to break it down moment by moment:
The block
Embiid comes from the weak side to absolutely punish Donovan Mitchell’s layup. He averages 1.8 blocks per game this season, and this was his second of the night.
The stare
Nothing to see here folks, just one man looking through another man’s soul after rejecting his layup out to the foul line:
The retaliation
Staring down another player after rejecting his shot is the equivalent of going out of your way to step on another man’s sneakers: them fighting words.
Mitchell, though, is 6’3” and 209 pounds. Embiid checks in at a solid 7’0”, 250 pounds. You be the judge:
The tech
Embiid knew what was coming: a technical foul. He got underneath Mitchell’s skin and let the Wells Fargo Center know it.
The cheer
Of course, no Joel Embiid moment is complete without cheering on the crowd.
The process is complete, Philly. You got yourselves a good one.
