There will be plenty of sports to watch while stuffing your face on Thanksgiving, but before all of that, why not tune in to the 91st annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? The event will feature some of the biggest stars in the country, a series of massive balloons and parade floats, and a whole lot more.

The parade has been broadcast primarily by NBC nationally since 1952 and can be viewed there beginning at 9 a.m. ET. The live stream of the parade can be had via NBC Live, while local and some national viewers can catch the CBS coverage of the parade as well. Live streaming will also be available on Verizon’s YouTube page.

The parade kicks off at 77th Street and Central Park West and will proceed downtown along the 2.5-mile route to the flagship Macy’s store at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue. If you’re watching in person, the parade can be viewed between 75th and 59th streets from the start for about 90 minutes, and later for the latter portions of the route.

In addition to the 17 giant character balloons and 28 legacy balloons, there will be 26 parade floats, over 1,000 cheerleaders and dancers, more than 1,000 clowns, a slew of marching bands, and a handful of performance groups. It’s a packed event and one of the most entertaining to view in person.

The official list of road closures isn’t nailed down, but last year’s list is a good indicator, which you can find over at Curbed.
