LaVar Ball is sending Donald Trump ZO2’s so he can ‘calm down a little bit’

Wake me when this is over.

The beef between President Donald Trump and LaVar Ball is the epitome of exactly what 2017 has been — but it isn’t over.

The first shipment of Lonzo Ball’s signature ZO2 shoes were reportedly shipped out by Big Baller Brand on Friday and LaVar Ball took his family out to celebrate. While out, Ball ran into a TMZ reporter and was asked to comment on the thought that he was “beating Trump at his own game.”

But according to Ball, that’s nonsense. Instead, he said, the president needs to calm down. To help him calm down, Ball said he’d personally ship Trump a pair of ZO2’s to wear.

“I gotta ship some to Trump so he can calm down a little bit. Get him some ZO2s so he play on the court. Not in the court, but on the court,” Ball said.

Man, this feud isn’t ending anytime soon. And I think I speak for us all when I say I’m already tired of it.

The beef between the two started when Trump took to Twitter to suggest that LaVar Ball should be grateful to the president for reportedly helping get LiAngelo Ball out of jail after he was allegedly caught shoplifting during a trip to China with the UCLA Bruins.

Trump asked for a thank you via Twitter.

And he got one from LiAngelo Ball himself.

Then he proceeded to gloat more on Twitter.

But LaVar Ball wasn’t having it. When asked if he was grateful to the president for whatever aid he may have offered in bringing the students home, LaVar Ball responded “Who?” Then, earlier this week, he doubled down on CNN and refused to show gratitude to Trump after he was called ungrateful by the president.

He took to CNN to defend his son, but made sure to take a few shots at Trump. When asked if he thought the president helped get LiAngelo Ball out of China, he said “I don’t know.”

“I don’t even tweet, I’m just saying why is that on your mind? All of this stuff going on and that’s on your mind, that a father didn’t say thank you? And you’re the head of the U.S.? Come on. You not even talking about what I’m doing,” Ball said.

Ball got an estimated $13.2 million in free advertising by taking a slot on CNN for nearly half an hour, so he certainly won’t be stopping anytime soon. He’s got shoes to sell.

Your guess is as good as mine as to when this feud is going to end. Obviously it won’t be anytime soon with Ball’s latest jab at the president. And you can be sure, once he grabs wind of this, Trump will have a response ready.
