Alshon Jeffery’s latest touchdown is a special one. Besides coming against his former team, the Chicago Bears, that score triggers a $250,000 bonus in his contract with the Eagles.
Alshon Jeffery just made $250,000 with a touchdown against his old team
Not a bad way to pick up some extra cash.

Despite needs all over the offense, the Bears let Jeffery walk in free agency. Philadelphia smartly scooped him up to bolster the offense cast around second-year quarterback Carson Wentz, and it’s working very nicely for the 9-1 Eagles.
Jeffery’s one-year deal is worth $9.5 million, but it could be as much as $14 million with incentives like this one.
Next on Jeffery’s to-do list is fulfilling an offseason promise to win the Super Bowl. Following Chicago’s season finale against the Vikings last year, he said “I guarantee you we are going to win the Super Bowl next year.”
The Bears aren’t going to the Super Bowl, but the Eagles might. When asked about his guarantee this week, Jeffery pointed out a loophole he left himself by not specifying WHICH team would be winning the championship.
Heading into this week’s game against the Bears, Jeffery had 567 receiving years and six touchdowns.
