The Buffalo Bills had a scare late in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday after E.J. Gaines was called for an unnecessary roughness penalty that shouldn’t have been called in the first place. They would still end up getting the win, 16-10.

The Chiefs have now dropped five of their past six games.
Gaines was running towards Charcandrick West, who ended up giving himself up late in the run. Gaines then pulled up and made slight contact with the shoulders of West as he went to the ground. A flag was then thrown:
The play game the Chiefs a first down at the Bills 38-yard line, down 16-10 with just under two minutes to go. Alex Smith and the Chiefs’ struggling offense seemed in prime position to make up for their shortcomings all afternoon.
However, three plays later, Alex Smith threw an interception at the Buffalo 36 to seal the game.
The Bills took two knees and improved to 6-5 on the season.
Smith hadn’t thrown an interception in the first eight weeks of the season, and now he has at least one the past three games, all of which have resulted in losses.
The Chiefs have now dropped five of their past six games and are looking vulnerable as ever with a plethora of issues plaguing their team.
