Gregg Popovich just got ejected for the second time this month

He was ejected in the middle of the second quarter.

Gregg Popovich hasn’t been a man of many words throughout his coaching career, but he’s never held his tongue for officials. Tonight, Popovich was ejected in the middle of the second quarter because of that.

Popovich had some choice, not-safe-for-work words for an official after the Spurs coach felt his team earned a call.

Cover your baby’s ears! Man, that was bad.

Popovich yelled “open your eyes” to the official over the call and received a technical but it didn’t stop there. He continued to walk on the court and cursed at the official saying “kiss my a**,” before being ejected.

Does this feel familiar? It should. It hasn’t even been a month since the last time Popovich was ejected. In a matchup with the Warriors earlier this season, he was ejected for saying “f****** terrible ref,” in an outburst with the game in hand.

We can add this newest incident to the ever-growing list of Popovich ejections. Sure, this can be an endearing quality. He was cheered on after he was ejected from the Warriors game. But that’s still an ugly look for Pop.

He’s a great coach, but man does he hate officials. I’d hate to get on his bad side.
