That’s just an incredible dunk. It was so powerful and fierce and the reaction from the crowd juices it up even more.
For a second, though, let’s just forget about the power in the dunk and recognize the moment. Rudy Gobert read it all the way. He was right there in lockstep with Antetokounmpo and met him at the rim. More often than not, he’s blocking this shot.
Not this one, though. Instead, he opted to keep his arm.
That’s what I like to call a business decision. No shame in that, Gobert. Some battles just ain’t worth fighting.
But then, on top of that, Antetokounmpo added this staredown to cap off his phenomenal night.
Dunking is an incredible game of chicken sometimes. Either you end up embarrassed or you get crowned. It’s the latter here for Antetokounmpo. And Bucks fans get to enjoy it.
