Le’Veon Bell left Ravens vs. Steelers in the second quarter with what appeared to be a leg injury. He was examined by medical staff on the Steelers’ sideline, and he returned on the next series.
Le’Veon Bell returns to Steelers game vs. Ravens after hit to left leg
Bell left the game after taking a helmet to the knee, but he came back in on the next series.

He was lucky. Bell took a nasty hit to his knee from a Ravens defender’s helmet. He left the field immediately.
Bell had seven carries for 28 yards and a touchdown before the injury. He added two catches for 27 yards and a receiving touchdown. That earned him a special distinction.
Bell is the Steelers’ leading rusher this season, and it’s not close. He has 1,057 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He’s second on the team behind Antonio Brown in catches with 66, and he’s added 502 yards and one touchdown through the air.
James Conner has the second-most rushing yards on the team with 125 so far this season. That’s a far cry from Bell’s productivity. Losing Bell would be a problem for a Steelers offense that relies on him so heavily in the run game and the passing game.
The Steelers, and Bell, are fortunate that he wasn’t injured and was able to return to the game right away.
