DeMarcus Cousins has the reputation of a fire starter, and with that reputation comes referees with a quick whistle. So when Cousins was blown for his fifth foul in the Pelicans’ matchup against the 76ers on Sunday, naturally he objected the call.
DeMarcus Cousins argues foul call after clearly fouling Amir Johnson
Boogie has to chill.

Here’s the thing: Boogie CLEARLY fouled Amir Johnson on this play. Here’s the ref’s angle when he blew the whistle.
Boogie, you can’t grab a player’s jersey like that, then get upset when the ref blows the whistle after Johnson goes tumbling to the ground. Arguing that call makes Cousins much, much less believable the next time he argues a whistle that could potentially be the wrong call. It’s kinda like the boy who cried wolf.
And you don’t want to be the boy who cried wolf.
