4 reasons to watch Broncos vs. Colts on ‘Thursday Night Football’ in Week 15

It’s our poopfest finale!

It’s time for our last poopfest of the season. I don’t think anybody is going to be really disappointed about it. Your favorite team’s in less danger because of it, and it means we’re getting closer to the playoffs.

This week, we’re sending the poopfests off with what could be a gigantic dud — Broncos vs. Colts. It’s a matchup between a pair of teams that are better off just playing for a high draft pick at this point.

The Broncos recently just broke out of an eight-game losing streak with a 23-0 shutout win over the Jets. It was their first shutout since 2005. The Colts, on the other hand, are coming off their fourth consecutive loss, and have lost seven of their last eight games.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like a promising game. Here’s why you should watch anyway.

Von Miller is still a freak

The Broncos’ dud of a season has kinda made people forget about Miller, with Denver out of the spotlight. It shouldn’t be like that, though. He’s still a phenomenal talent that gives teams hell every week.

He doesn’t give up:

Miller has 10 sacks on the season, tied for eighth best in the NFL. He’s just four behind Chandler Jones, and could possibly catch him with a monster finish to the season.

If he’s going to get a start on it, there’s not many better teams to do it against than the Colts.

The possibility of a great Vance Joseph reaction

In their Week 2 blowout against the Cowboys, FOX cameras caught Joseph giving this money reaction shot:

Look, I know we’re pulling teeth here finding reasons for you to watch this game. If you’re on this website, you love a good meme. If we get one out of the game and it’s not good, I’ll call that a victory for all of us.

T.Y. Hilton is still a big-play wideout

For all of the bad I have spoken upon the Colts up to this point, I should be fair in mentioning that T.Y. Hilton and Jacoby Brissett have had their moments.

Hilton has had a good season considering his starting quarterback has missed the entirety. He has 811 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

This Brissett bomb was one of them:

Hilton hasn’t put up the numbers that he did after a career-year in 2016 where he had 1,448 yards and six touchdowns. But for him to be close to yet another 1,000-yard season is impressive for the team that’s been rather poor for the 2017 season.

Hopefully he gets a fully healthy Andrew Luck back. He’s too talented for the back end of his prime to go to waste.

SkyCam!

If the game isn’t likely going to be all that great, at least we get more SkyCam. NBC tested it full time for Titans-Steelers last month after having to do it for the Super Bowl LI rematch due to severe fog.

It provided angles where you could see interceptions unfolding where you otherwise wouldn’t:

NBC executive producer Fred Gaudelli said in a press release, “Younger generations of NFL fans have grown accustomed to watching football from this angle through their love of video games. This telecast will have a look and feel akin to that experience.”

What Frank means, is that a lot of us grew up playing Madden.

Grab your PlayStation or Xbox controller and pretend to play the game — make it fun.

Enjoy the poopfest!

Everyone loved the SkyCam earlier this season
