Ryan Shazier says incomplete pass ruling in Patriots vs. Steelers was ‘bull s***’

Steelers players aren’t happy.

Refs ruled that the Steelers’ game-winning touchdown against the Patriots was not a catch. Linebacker Ryan Shazier wasn’t happy about it.

Shazier is sidelined as he recovers from surgery to repair a serious spinal injury he suffered in Week 13 against the Bengals. He was at the Steelers’ game on Sunday for the first time since his injury. He didn’t care for the refs’ decision on the play.

It looked like tight end Jesse James got into the end zone on this play. But officials ruled that the pass was incomplete.

JuJu Smith-Schuster got the Steelers in position to score with a 69-yard catch and run that put the Steelers in the red zone. No wonder he wasn’t happy about the officials’ decision, either.

The Patriots sealed the win with an interception in the end zone. Ben Roethlisberger went over the middle to Eli Rogers, but the ball bounced right off Rogers’ hands.

These two teams may very well meet again in the playoffs, and here’s hoping that matchup is as entertaining as Sunday’s game.
