Terry Rozier crushed the Pacers’ hearts with a late-game steal to ruin a 19-point comeback

Indiana was so close to beating the Celtics, until Rozier swooped in and stole an ill-advised pass.

The Pacers rallied back from down 19 against the Celtics on Monday night, and had a one-point lead with 5 seconds left. All they had to do was hold onto the ball and go to the foul line and increase the lead to three.

But Bojan Bogdanovic made a cross-court pass that Terry Rozier intercepted and finished with a two-handed stuff that effectively ended Indiana’s heroic comeback efforts.

The play nullified a Herculean fourth quarter performance by Victor Oladipo, who finished with 36 points, including some incredible made shots in the game’s final two minutes.

More to come.
