Adam Henrique had a pretty great run with the New Jersey Devils, so naturally there was some excitement in the building for his first game back at the Prudential Center as a member of the Anaheim Ducks. It started with a stunning breakaway goal in the second period and ended with him receiving a very special Festivus present.
Adam Henrique received the ‘Pads of Seduction’ and delivered a stunning goal in New Jersey return
THE DEVILS!!!

No, not a metal pole or an Airing of Grievances, but the very sexy, Seinfeld-inspired “Pads of Seduction.”
Yes, the “Pads of Seduction” are real, and they’re spectacular.
This is basically me in 1997 when my parents bought me a Nintendo 64 for Christmas:
Prior to that, Henrique scored a stunning breakaway goal where he outraced Sami Vatanen — the defenseman he was traded for — then flicked a ridiculous backhanded shot to beat Cory Schneider:
The Devils also played a video honoring the forward, who made his debut with the team in 2011 and played 455 games before being traded. In 2012, he was part of the New Jersey team that reached Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final before falling short to the Kings.
But the most special moment of all, like it is for many kids around Christmas, was getting to open the presents.
The “Pads of Seduction” were first designed in 2016 but this is the first time we’ve seen them together with their deserved owner (well, other than George Costanza). We cannot confirm whether David Puddy was in the crowd screaming THE DEVILSSSSSSS or the Feats of Strength were done, but Henrique’s return home for the holidays was definitely a special one.
