Titans running back DeMarco Murray left the Titans’ game against the Rams with a right leg injury. Derrick Henry took over at running back for the Titans.

The injury happened in the final two minutes and change, when the Rams were up on the Titans, 27-23. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he has an LCL sprain:

What does this mean for the Titans? Murray’s injury isn’t a good one for the Titans, and they’ll need him to be healthy for Week 17. The loss puts the Titans at 8-7 on the season, the same as the Chargers and Bills.

Murray hasn’t had one of his better seasons. After having a 1,200-yard season last year, he entered Sunday’s game with just 611 yards.

While he hasn’t been as effective as he’s been in past seasons, he’s still a weapon that the Titans are going to need if they hope to make the playoffs.
