This is the most Draymond Green possession in the history of Draymond Green

How is he this good?

It’s easy to see that Draymond Green is the Warriors linchpin. They can survive without him for a bit, but his combination rebounding, passing and defense are all essential to what the Warriors do.

We can’t think of a sequence that embodies Green’s game more than this one from the third quarter of the Warriors’ Christmas Day showdown against the Cavaliers.

In one sequence, Green defends a shot, grabs a rebound, falls to the ground, and still has the wherewithal to find Kevin Durant despite LeBron James being all over him.

It turned out to be the perfect pass, too. Durant got fouled in transition and hit two free throws on the other end. This all stemmed from Green’s combination of hustle, grit and skill.

This block on Tristan Thompson midway through the fourth quarter to set up a Kevin Durant dunk wasn’t bad, either.

Green might not be the Warriors’ best player, but he’s certainly their most unique. These sequences prove that.
