Serge Ibaka suspended 1 game by Raptors after altercation with assistant coach
The team announced Ibaka’s suspension shortly before they faced Atlanta on Friday.

Ibaka was involved in an altercation with a member of the coaching staff on Wednesday after the team’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which led to the suspension.
“Both parties have apologized,” Raptors president Masai Ujiri said in the team’s statement. “We’ve discussed this internally as a team, and we won’t be discussing it any further. Now we’re focused on moving forward together, and we look forward to having Serge back in the lineup.”
This is the fourth game that Ibaka will miss this season after playing in 30 of Toronto’s 33 matchups so far. The big man is averaging 13.8 points on 59.5 percent True Shooting Percentage, the second-best mark of his career. Ibaka is also shooting and making more three-pointers than any other point in his career.
