Dec. 31, 2017 is going to be a day in Buffalo Bills history that will certainly be remembered — they clinched their first playoff berth since 1999.
The Bills are pure joy celebrating their first playoff appearance since 1999
It’s been a while since the Bills had anything to celebrate.

The Bills celebrated in the locker room afterward with Gatorade going everywhere and plenty of high fives to be passed around:
But the incredible part was the fashion in which they did it in.
After beating the Dolphins 22-16, the Bills needed help from the Bengals. The Bengals held a 17-3 lead but eventually blew it to the Ravens. Down 27-24 with less than a minute to play, the Bengals faced a fourth-and-12. Andy Dalton then chucked a 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd for the winning score.
Not only was it a dramatic way to enter the postseason, it had just been so long since they were actually in the tournament. While it doesn’t seem like a long time ago, times have really changed since their last playoff appearance.
Just something to think about:
In other words, we’re basically living in an entirely different world since the last time the Bills were in the playoffs.
