Two Saturdays ago, four top-10 teams were toppled to kick off a historic weekend. Last Saturday, six top-10 squads were knocked off on the same day for the first time since 1994. Does similar madness await the college basketball world this week? It certainly seems foolish to rule it out.

A showdown in the West Coast Conference headlines what could be another wild Saturday in college hoops.

In addition to featuring the possibility for more upsets, Saturday’s slate also includes a pair of matchups featuring multiple top-25 teams. The showcase game of the day tips off at 8:15 ET in Moraga, Calif., where No. 20 Saint Mary’s is hosting top-ranked and undefeated Gonzaga. The Zags would appear to be facing the only real threat on their road to an undefeated regular season. They defeated the Gaels by 23 at home back on Jan. 14.
Reigning national champion No. 2 Villanova will also face a tough road test in conference play. Jay Wright’s team will face a resurgent 24th-ranked Xavier squad that has won four straight since falling out of the top 25 for the first time all season.
