Michigan State inserts injured guard Eron Harris into a game one last time on senior day
Harris’ college career ended with an knee injury, but Tom Izzo found a way to get him on the court one last time.

There was a feel good moment at the end of Michigan State’s 84-74 win over Wisconsin on Sunday. On senior day, Tom Izzo inserted injured guard Eron Harris into the game in the final seconds so he could get one last ovation from the home crowd. Harris, in full uniform with a brace on his knee, kissed the logo at center court as the clock expired.
Harris’ college career ended earlier this month after needing surgery to repair a knee injury. He was Michigan State’s third-leading scorer this year and the team’s best three-point shooter.
This was a big win for the Spartans, who now appear to be a likely bet to secure an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers, meanwhile, are struggling. This was Wisconsin’s fourth loss in its last five games.
