Stephen Curry left in the first quarter of the Warriors game on Thursday, heading directly to the locker room after he seemed to step on Evan Fournier’s foot. Here’s video of the play, which Curry immediately reacted to before limping off the floor under his own power.

Fortunately, what initially looked like it might be a troublesome injury turned out to be nothing.


Fortunately, Curry returned just minutes later and checked back into the game.
Initially, Warriors reporters tweeted that Curry had gone down without contact — which always is scary and can indicate a more severe injury. Fortunately, despite Curry’s quick retreat to the locker room, the reigning two-time MVP quickly returned.
In his absence, Klay Thompson went off, dropping 21 points in the first nine minutes of Golden State’s game against Orlando.
Who knows — maybe it’s Steph’s turn next.
