At age 31, Chris Paul isn’t the speed demon he once was when he entered the league as a rookie in 2005. Now an established veteran, the All-Star guard relies more on his wit to outsmart defenders and make easy plays.
Chris Paul faked Mason Plumlee into next season
Sheesh.

Case in point:
In the Clippers Thursday matchup against the Denver Nuggets, Paul got big man Mason Plumlee into the air with a step-back pump fake. But Plumlee is a tall, lanky shot blocker — the pump fake wasn’t enough.
So Paul followed up with a fake pass that got the Nuggets center jumping into another direction. Plumlee was out there looking like a human pogo stick. The fake freed up Paul, who then calmly faded away for a cool mid-range jump shot.
CP3 finished with 18 points and 14 assists, but the Clippers opted to rest Blake Griffin. That decision allowed Denver to pull away with a 129-115 win.
