Marquette King practiced punting in a green Power Rangers costume

Of course he did.

It’s no secret that Marquette King is a fan of the green Power Ranger. King has worn the mask to the grocery store and to training camp in the past, and hasn’t been shy about it.

On Friday, which also happened to be St. Patrick’s Day, King decided he was going to practice in full uniform. Green Power Rangers uniform, that is.

Back in December, King told SB Nation, “I just randomly do it, man.” He also isn’t limited to the Power Rangers. “Shoot, I might wake up and feel like putting on that Superman outfit, and I just go in my car. I might just put it on and walk around the crib with it.”

King’s ways aren’t the norm for NFL punters, but it’s definitely working for him. He was one of the most prolific punters this past season.

He also brings fun to the NFL, which it can always use.
