Things got chippy between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder in the Warriors’ second game back since Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City.
Steph Curry scuffles with Semaj Christon and Russell Westbrook as Warriors-Thunder tension boils over
These two teams do not like each other.

As the teams were setting up for a jump ball, Steph Curry got into a scuffle with Semaj Christon and Russell Westbrook, after Christon appeared to swat Curry’s arm away as he was trying to set his position on the floor.
These two teams clearly don’t like each other. Their first matchup resulted in the entire arena chanting “cupcake” at Durant. This time around, a cupcake mascot was walking around with a crutch, mimicking an injured Durant.
After the scuffle, Curry ended up getting the last laugh, hitting a buzzer-beating shot to end the half with the Warriors up, 59-39, and sprinting to the locker room.
You gotta love the ongoing rivalry between the Thunder and the Warriors. There’s also another half of basketball to play.
