Jamal Crawford’s 3rd-quarter halfcourt buzzer-beater almost hit Staples Center ceiling

The ceiling is the roof.

Jamal Crawford closed out the third quarter of the Los Angeles Clippers’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers in the best way possible.

With 2.5 seconds left on the clock, he took the inbounds pass from Marreese Speights and threw up a prayer that looked like it would hit the Staples Center roof, before going straight through the basket.

The Clippers were enjoying a nice lead over the Lakers, and usually in situations like this, last-second shots aren’t taken. This one was absolutely worth it, though.
