In addition to being aired on TV, the games can be livestreamed through the WatchESPN App or the Watch ESPN website.
Both the girls and boys games will feature two teams (East, West) of 12 players from around the country, led by a head coach and two assistants. The teams will also be decked out in Adidas gear from head to toe. Aside from the custom shoes — Harden Vol. 1 and Crazy Explosive Primeknit — the players’ uniforms will feature the outline of their home states on the neck of their jerseys.
Players spent the past few days visiting the Ronald McDonald House and competing in the POWERADE® Jam Fest. The Jam Fest included a three-point shootout, slam dunk contest, and the Legends & Stars shootout.
Taking home the trophy for the girls three-point contest was Chasity Patterson with a dominating 20 baskets, over Megan Walker (8), Destiny Littleton (13), and Sidney Cooks (9). The boys competition was a bit stiffer, with Trae Young coming out victorious with 19 buckets, narrowly beating Gary Trent Jr. (15), M.J. Walker (13), and Kevin Knox (16).
