Missouri shocks Auburn with a buzzer-beater in the SEC Tournament

What a win.

The Missouri Tigers were dead last in the SEC this season at 7-23, but are feeling the magic of the month of March after a buzzer-beating victory over Auburn.

With 2.7 seconds left, the Tigers’ Kevin Puryear caught the ball at the top of the three-point arc, fired, and knew it was going in as he backpedaled to midcourt for the 86-83 win:

With the win, Missouri will face Ole Miss in the second round on Thursday. Whoever advances in that game is slated to play Arkansas in the quarterfinals.
