This week in nature: This wild horse gave a gator the hooves.

Whoa!

Have you ever seen a horse and a gator fight before? Well today is your lucky day thanks to a Facebook user who went to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.

I have some questions.

Why are you guys that close to the action in a place that has gators and horses just chilling?

Who won the fight? It looks like the gator got a chomp in, but the Horse also kicked it pretty damn hard.

Will the gator come back with a squad? So many cliffhangers!

As someone who has watched lions face off against hippos, I am intrigued to see how gators and wild horses interact just on a day-to-day basis

... and now I’m thinking about the penguin fight again.

“But she’s got no time for losers” IT GETS ME EVERY TIME!
