The Indiana Pacers lost the opening game of their first-round series to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 109-108, after LeBron James double teamed to get the ball out of Paul George’s hands on the game’s final possession. George then passed the ball to C.J. Miles, who missed the potential game-winning shot.
No, Lance Stephenson wasn’t open on the Pacers’ final play against the Cavaliers
That pass was impossible.

But in coming with the double, some felt James left Lance Stephenson open underneath the basket.
Here’s another angle:
Not even LeBron could have made that pass.
It would have been near impossible for George to squeeze that pass to Stephenson. You can argue he tried to, but then pivoted and threw the ball to Miles after James fully committed with the double.
By the time Stephenson had made himself a target, Kyrie Irving had come over to help and James was in George’s face.
That pass would have led to a turnover. George made the right decision dishing it to Miles.
