Stephen Curry is many things. He’s the point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He’s a two-time Most Valuable Player, four-time All-Star, and one-time NBA champion. He’s the 2015-16 scoring champion, the 2015-16 steals leader, and he has set and broken his own three-point shooting record multiple times.
Stephen Curry gets ‘in the zone’ by furiously organizing his garage
Curry said his garage is his arena, not the Warriors’ court.

Curry’s a man, a son, a husband, and a father. He’s also a serial organizer.
In an interview with GQ, the man of many accolades said he has the most energy to get stuff done at 10 p.m. And what does he do?
“Oh, man, this is embarrassing,” Curry said. “But one of my favorite pastimes is organizing the garage. That’s when I get in my zone. Just doing the shelves, putting shoeboxes here, moving athletic equipment over there, everything in its place. That’s my zone. That’s my arena.”
This is the kind of weird stuff champions do
It’s off the court, not on, where they reveal their obsessiveness. Kobe Bryant said he studied great white sharks to shut down Allen Iverson. LeBron James goes all “Zero Dark Thirty-23” on us every playoff series. Dion Waiters incorrectly quotes people. Curry organizes his garage.
Whatever works for him.
