Warren Sapp doesn’t think Myles Garrett should be the first overall pick because he’s “lazy.” Garrett’s mom doesn’t agree.
Myles Garrett’s mom put Warren Sapp in his place after he criticized her son
Garrett’s mom tells it like it is.

“I don’t see it from this kid,” Sapp said, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “I see the splash plays; everybody gets those. Where’s the game he took over? Where? Any defensive lineman who’s the No. 1 pick, you turn up and you say, ‘There it is!’ This kid, no, I don’t. ... I watch the tape, and he absolutely disappears.”
In a video that surfaced Thursday, Garrett begins to address Sapp’s comments. Garrett doesn’t get a chance to answer before his mom chimes in.
“Is he still relevant?” Garrett’s mom asks. Garrett’s reaction is priceless.
Rumors are swirling that the Cleveland Browns may pass on Garrett and choose quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with the first overall pick instead. Garrett said he’ll make the Browns pay if they don’t take him first overall, and we can only imagine what Garrett’s mom’s reaction will be if that happens.
