Marshawn Lynch starred in latest Train video and it was more fun than we expected

We didn’t see this one coming.

Marshawn Lynch in the new Train music video is something none of us saw coming, and something none of us expected to actually be interesting. But it was.

The video for “Drink Up” features Lynch, Ken Jeong, George Lopez, and Jim Breuer. The setting was at a wedding for Lynch, with everybody else crashing it and just having a blast.

Beastmode was putting in work on a bottle of Hennessy (unlike some people we know), while everyone else is sipping on some champagne. He’s also wearing a slick “Beastmode” hat.

A bit of fun was poked at the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl XLIX loss, where Russell Wilson infamously passed the ball into the hands of Malcolm Butler instead of handing the ball off to Lynch.

Train lead singer, Pat Monahan, sent a text message to “COACH” (aka Pete Carroll) to pass the ball instead of running.

Even if it was terrible advice, Marshawn forgave Monahan, and everybody hugged it out.

“Hey man, y’all my best friends, man,” Lynch says. “You’re my best friends, man.” The hug concluded with a friend yelling, “We’re going to Oakland!”

Of course, the party isn’t complete until we get a signature crotch grab. This one didn’t cost him any money.

The whole video was unexpected, but it does make sense: Train originated in the Bay Area.

We have yet to see what Lynch will look like back on the football field, but there’s no question his fun side is as sharp as ever.
