The NBA Draft Lottery is finished, and the big-market teams cleaned up. The Celtics secured the No. 1 pick by way of the Nets, while the Lakers moved up to No. 2 and kept their 2019 first-rounder in the process. Finally, some good luck for those long-suffering franchises.

In this two-part podcast, I chat with Celtics Blog’s Jeff Clark about Boston’s enviable position. I might be a little bitter about what transpired on Monday night. Then, Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll and Locked On Lakers jumps on to laugh at Lakers conspiracy theories, consider what a Lonzo Ball-D’Angelo Russell backcourt might look like, and dissect how this lottery fortune affects the Paul George sweepstakes. Part II of the podcast begins at the 23:45 mark, if you want to skip ahead.
