Von Miller is one of the biggest stars the NFL has to offer, but he still took the time to be at the Broncos ceremony that honors the team’s employees on Thursday. It may not seem significant, but according to The Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala, he’s the only player she’s seen do so.
Von Miller surprises Broncos staff by attending employee recognition day ceremony
Miller thanked more than 200 team employees, something no player has done before.

Miller spoke at the podium of the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse and thanked over 200 employees from Mile High Stadium and the team’s practice facility in Englewood for their work.
“We couldn’t do what we do if it weren’t for you,” Miller told the audience of employees. After thanking them collectively, Miller signed raffle items. This all came two hours after the team had practiced.
This year’s display of appreciation isn’t the only time Miller has stepped up for team employees. Last year, he and Demaryius Thomas gave two-night stays at a Colorado resort to more than 100 team employees.
The kind gestures aren’t exclusive to the Broncos, either. Miller also gave every one of his AFC West opponents a bottle of wine and a thank you note at the end of last season. That’s over 200 bottles of wine.
Whether he’s just being a nice guy or living his life to the fullest, Miller knows how to make the most of his offseason. He could be thanking team employees, on Dancing with the Stars, or even hanging out with Drake.
We need more people like Von Miller in the world.
