LeBron James, in all his cold-blooded cruelty, erased another surefire layup from the planet with a vicious chasedown block, this time on Celtics’ guard Avery Bradley.
LeBron James chased down Avery Bradley and erased his layup from the universe
It doesn’t matter how old LeBron gets. Chasedown blocks are forever young.

Bradley leaked out on a fastbreak during Game 2 of the Celtics’ Eastern Conference Finals matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. He went up for a layup before James detonated like a heat-seeking missile, meeting Bradley at the rim and punching the layup toward the sidelines.
Chasedown blocks are nothing new for James, who has made a career in part from his ferocious rejections from behind. It’s incredible that, at age 32, James is still able to run down young guys like Bradley, time them to a tee, and CTRL-ALT-DELETE all their dreams and aspirations in one foul swoop.
Bradley definitely isn’t the first player James has chased down in his career. Just ask Andre Iguodala or Jason Richardson. And he surely won’t be the last.
Here’s to more of these rejections in the future.
