The first round of the NBA playoffs ended with the Los Angeles Clippers suffering a crushing Game 7 defeat at home to the Utah Jazz. In the second round, it’ll be the Jazz who look to avoid being crushed by the Golden State Warriors.
NBA playoff schedule 2017: Warriors-Jazz kicks off, and Celtics look to protect home court vs. Wizards
Tuesday’s double-header features each conference’s top teams attempting to hold down the fort.

Round 2 action continues on Tuesday, with a double-header of must-see matchups.
The first showdown is between the East’s top-ranked Boston Celtics and the No. 4 Washington Wizards. The Celtics took Game 1, 123-111, behind a 33-point outburst from Isaiah Thomas. Washington, though, lost Markieff Morris to a sprained left ankle after only 11 minutes on the floor. Morris said he’d be good to go for Game 2, but it remains to be seen if he’s ready to hit the floor.
The second game of Tuesday’s double-header is the kick-off match between the Jazz and the Warriors. Golden State swept the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round and had more than a week’s worth of rest. The Jazz played a grueling seven-game series and came out victorious over the Clippers. The Warriors won two of the three regular season matchups against the Jazz, including a 30-point beatdown in December.
