On Thursday, No. 16 Alabama defeated top-ranked Florida, 3-0, in Game 1 of the Gainesville Super Regional. Also, No. 5 UCLA knocked off No. 12 Ole Miss, 8-7, in Game 1 of the Los Angeles Super Regional.
