Much to the delight of basketball fans everywhere, news of 3-on-3 basketball being a new Olympic event came out not too long ago.
LeBron James isn’t interested in participating in the new 3-on-3 Olympics event

Who will represent the USA in this event? Carmelo Anthony? James Harden? Kyrie Irving?
Well at least we know it’s not LeBron James.
I’m trying to think of a reason why LeBron would even do it and I have nothing. There is literally no one who should be mad about this decision.
Years from now in these “greatest of all time” debates, no one is going to bring this up and if they did that means they have lost the argument.
Now if this was Slamball ... I’m kidding guys. LeBron has nothing to prove.

OKAY IT WOULD BE COOL TO SEE LEBRON IN A 3-ON-3. However, I completely understand why he’s not down.
