The Pittsburgh Penguins are your 2017 Stanley Cup champions, and you know what that means. It’s time to party.
Penguins parade 2017: Date, start time announced for Stanley Cup celebration
Time to take Wednesday off, Pittsburgh.

The city of Pittsburgh will be holding its championship parade for the Penguins’ second consecutive Stanley Cup victory on the Wednesday morning of June 14, at 11 a.m. ET. That’s almost exactly a year since the last parade, which was on June 15, 2016.
The Penguins won their third Stanley Cup of the Sidney Crosby-Evgeni Malkin era by topping the Nashville Predators in six games. A 2-0 victory on the road in Game 6 clinched the victory Sunday night, with Patric Hornqvist scoring the game-winning goal in the third period of a thriller at Bridgestone Arena.
The home team won every game in the series until Game 6, which shows you how evenly matched these teams were. The Penguins’ star power won out in the end, though, despite an impressive effort from the Predators’ defense.
Even if Crosby didn’t need another Stanley Cup to prove his greatness, winning a third cements his place in hockey history. And after an incredible, yet bizarre playoff run, the Penguins have laid their claim against the Blackhawks as the greatest team of this era.
