It’s too soon to worry about LeBron James rumors, but they’re swirling. The latest rumors are that James might leave Cleveland when he hits free agency in 2018 and possibly join the Lakers in Los Angeles.
Lonzo Ball’s pitch for LeBron James joining to the Lakers is actually super convincing
Even I want to join the Lakers now.
On SportsCenter, Michael Smith mentioned those rumors to Lonzo Ball after Lonzo told him his favorite NBA 2K team to play with was the Cavaliers. In turn, Lonzo gave him this pitch to LeBron to come play with him, and it was honestly great.
“Hey man, LeBron, I like to win. I know you like to win. I think our games could help each other out a lot and anytime you want the ball, just let me know. It’s gon’ be there.”
Man, now I want to come play with Lonzo Ball.
As Smith and Jemele Hill mentioned, it’s not tampering because Ball isn’t in the league yet. Whew. It was also all hypothetical, since Ball still hasn’t been drafted by Los Angeles. But we’re all basically sure it’s going to happen.
