Lonzo Ball was always ready to go to the Lakers at No. 2 overall, but to prove it, he released a new Lakers-themed color way of his ZO2 signature shoe.
Lonzo Ball released a Lakers-themed shoe immediately after being drafted
Big Baller Brand was so ready for Lonzo Ball to be a Laker, it had a new shoe ready at the draft.
The shoes were released on the Big Baller Brand website as soon as Ball was drafted to the Lakers. Ball wore the shoes in an interview with ESPN after he was picked by L.A. (Video via Darren Rovell)
The shoe still costs the same $495 the original model did, but they are the only other model we’ve seen of the shoe to this point. The official name of the new color way is the ZO2: SHO’TIME. Of course, it’s the Big Baller Brand. So you know there’s got to be something controversial about them.
If you want these shoes, be prepared not to see them until 2018. According to the site, they won’t ship until Feb. 10.
