Marshawn Lynch is giving 2,000 kids free tickets to a water park

First it was free haircuts for good grades, now Marshawn Lynch is sending kids to a local water park.

Marshawn Lynch has poured himself into Oakland since signing with the Raiders in April and has focused his community involvement efforts on kids in the Bay Area. Lynch grew up in Oakland and has always made the city a priority, but the running back has upped his efforts since donning the silver and black.

Earlier in June, Lynch gave away free haircuts to any kid who brought report cards with good grades to his BeastMode store. Now he’s giving 2,000 kids a way to beat the heat this summer with a trip to a local water park:

It has been a hot start to summer and there aren’t many better ways to spend it than going down water slides.

A move to Las Vegas is on the horizon for the Raiders and the team doesn’t have much time to earn a Super Bowl victory before leaving Oakland. But even if the team doesn’t make it happen, Lynch is going to make sure Oakland continues to benefit from his time with the Raiders.
